Please note that the DMC only provides black and white thread and needles for the sewing machines. Sewing kits include shears, tape measure, pin cushions, and other sewing utility items. You are welcome to bring your own thread, yarn, and fabric. For more information about the Sewing Studio, please visit the DMC LibGuide.
Training: No training is required to use this space.
Reservation Policy:
- A reservation is required to use each piece of equipment in this space.
- Must be a current UNCG student, faculty, or staff member. (UNCG ID REQUIRED)
- You must check-in online to avoid automatic cancellation. Instructions on checking in are included in your confirmation email.
- Reservations are automatically cancelled 30 minutes after the reservation start time if you have not checked in and arrived. (NO EXCEPTIONS)
- You may reserve up to 3-HRS per reservation.
- Reservations can be made up to two weeks in advance.
- The individual whose name is on the reservation must be present to access the space and for the duration of the reservation.
- The space is not reservable for general study purposes.
- Visit the DMC service desk at the beginning and end of your reservation.
- By submitting a reservation you agree to the Terms and Conditions.
